McDonald’s
100 years of Coca-Cola in France
Behind the Scenes
We had the chance of collaborating with McDonald’s in France to celebrate 100 years of Coca-Cola in the country. For this special occasion, McDonald’s created a collection of glasses, each representing a different decade from the 1920s to the 2020s. Our idea was to creatively represent each decade using these glasses as the central medium.
The project involved creating a series of short scenes, each capturing the essence of a specific era through imaginative installations. We utilized a variety of practical effects and filmmaking techniques, including mirrors, custom rigs, puppeting, motors, animated spotlights, neons, anamorphic projections, stop-motion, and more. Each technique was chosen to reflect the unique characteristics and spirit of the corresponding decade, with special attention to lighting that enhanced the historical feel.
The result was a series of visually fun and diverse scenes, each offering a unique twist that brought each decade to life. This project allowed us to showcase our creativity and technical skills through practical effects and in-camera installations.
